Children will fall in love with you forever if you let them go into a Build a Bear workshop and let them build their own customized teddy bear. With stores all over the world, children are guaranteed to be entertained if you find a store and head inside. While the prices are quite high for building the custom bears, it will make a great birthday present or end of a vacation present for children of all ages.
Certain sports venues have customized Build A Bear stores within them, selling sports related mascots to accompany the team the venue represents. If you're after something else other than a bear, the Build a Bear corporation also has a store to build a dinosaur instead. With products ranging across all of the cuddly wildlife spectrum now, almost any store you visit will have enough of an array of products to give the customer exactly what they're looking for in a cuddly best friend.
It's not the appeal of having your own customized bear that keeps people coming back though. Instead of building and customizing your bear in the same way they'd make a sandwich in a sandwich shop, customers can go along an assembly line, picking out every individual part for their bear from the actual bear shell itself, the amount of fluff that goes inside, the clothes and accessories, and finally a heart. Build a Bear workshops give children the excitement of bringing their bear to life by putting a little heart inside every bear before its sewn up. After your bear is built and you take it up to the register, your bear is named and given a birth certificate to certify its place in the world.
Once you leave the store though, the fun is not over yet. Printed on the birth certificate of the bear is a code that allows kids to head online with their bear and play games with their bear that has now been brought to life in an online world. Your build a bear isn't just your usual stuffed animal, it's one that children will cherish for years to come because they know where it came from and they had a hand in putting it there.
