Folsom Children's Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Lincoln - NE 68502

The zoo offers more than 300 animals, including Amur leopards, Bactrian camels, baboons, river otters, crocodiles, naked mole rats, several species of primates and red pandas. One third of the animals are a threatened or endangered species. The zoo has daily harbor seal demonstrations at 11am and 3pm. The animals live among breathtaking gardens featuring annuals, perennials and 50 types of trees. Ride the ponies and circle the zoo on the Z.O. & O. Railroad. In the summer of 2003, the zoo will, once again, offer Nebraska’s only Butterfly Pavilion. Open April 15 thru October 15 from 10pm to 5pm and until 8pm on Wednesdays June thru August.
