Things to do on your 18th birthday

The 18th birthday is one of the most important days of your life. It is the day you attain adulthood. You bid good bye to the days of being a child and take the plunge into the big bad world with excitement and pleasure. So, obviously it is a time to celebrate, to make the day memorable. Isn’t it marks the day, when you can cast your franchise and have the legal right to be married?

The first thing you should do to make this 18th birth day of yours memorable is to plan ahead. The day should be celebrated in such a way that it goes well with your attitude and interests. Here are some of the things that you can do to make it interesting and momentous.

Have a party – This comes first to everybody’s mind. Isn’t it after all a birth day? So, what better way to celebrate than celebrating by inviting friends and family to your house? You can use your ideas and innovations to make it special. Arrange some games, a musical band or fancy dressings to make it more exciting. Or you can even book a venue and arrange a themed party.

Going to a club – Since attaining the age of 18, is viewed as stepping onto adulthood, many of you would want to indulge in something that the adults like to do. It includes having some hard drink, puffing away some cigarettes or visiting club or gambling joints. Of course, this applies only if you happen to be men. So, visit a night club with your friends and dance away the night. But take care that you really enjoy the company you are in. And don’t booze too much.

Go on a long drive – Some of you might love to go on a long drive on your eighteenth birthday. So, accompanied by a select group of friends, you may hire a car and go on a picnic far away from the madding crowd and have a blast. But don’t forget to take the essential things like the food, drinks, maps, tool box etc. Otherwise, in stead of being a memorable one, the day can turn out to be a harrowing one.
