The concept of sexual harassment in USA
Sexual harassment in the United States can be called anything. Officially, the Commission on equal employment opportunities (EEOS) defines sexual harassment as: unwanted sexual attempts, requests for sexual favors and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when:
1) consent to such conduct is a clear or implicit condition of employment of a person;
2) the agreement or disagreement of women to such conduct is used as the basis for decisions on employment in relation to these women;
3) such conduct has the purpose or the result of unfounded impact on the execution of their employment responsibilities, or create a frightening, hostile, or offensive working environment.
